Banks offer bonuses for opening new accounts, but payouts often depend on completing specific tasks. We examine the reward mechanisms in selected offers.
Multi-stage bonuses
Some banks split the reward into stages. In PKO Konto za Zero z kartą Visa, you can receive up to 1,000 zł. Requirements include opening an account online with code LATO and marketing consent. To get the rewards, you must log in to the IKO app at least 1 time and perform min. 1 contactless transaction with a card in each of the 5 consecutive months. Receiving subsequent rewards requires meeting conditions in all previous months.
Pekao uses a different model in Promocja Podróżna, where the maximum total refund in the wallet is up to 2,400 zł. The bonus depends on making contactless card or BLIK transactions for travel expenses, such as fuel, flight, train, or bus tickets, and tours.
