This policy explains what personal data moneyshortlist.com processes and why. It describes how the site works today: no user accounts for readers, no newsletter, no contact forms and no analytics. The site shows advertising from Google (AdSense), described below.
Who is responsible

What we process
- Server logs. When you open a page, our servers record technical data: IP address, date and time, requested address, browser identifier and response code. We use it only to keep the site secure and working (legal basis: legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are deleted automatically after 14 days.
- Cookies. Our own code sets no cookies for readers (except when an administrator logs in to the editorial panel). Cookies and similar identifiers may be set by Google for advertising and for storing your consent choice — see “Advertising” below.
- Polls. Answers to the short polls under articles are stored only as anonymous counters — without your IP address or cookies.
- Fonts and images are served from our own servers — opening a page does not send your data to external font or image services.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
We show ads provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) through Google AdSense. To display and measure ads, Google processes data such as your IP address, device and browser information and the pages you view, and may use cookies or similar identifiers. Google acts as an independent controller for this processing; details: How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
When you first visit, a consent banner (Google’s certified consent tool) asks whether you agree to cookies and personalised ads (legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and the rules on storing information on your device). If you do not agree, Google may still show non-personalised ads, which use data only to the extent needed to deliver the ad and prevent fraud. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the “Privacy settings” link on the site; withdrawing consent does not affect processing before it.
Google may transfer data outside the European Economic Area, including to the United States, on the basis of the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. Ads never influence the order of our rankings.
Links to providers
Buttons such as “See the offer” take you to the websites of banks and other providers. Some links may be affiliate links. Once you leave our site, the provider’s own privacy policy applies, and the provider or an affiliate network may use cookies to attribute your visit.
Where the data is stored
The site runs on servers in the European Union. We do not sell or share log data, except where the law requires it. Data processed by Google for advertising is described in the section above.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Poland: the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, UODO). To exercise your rights, write to the contact address above.
