Bank Pekao has decided to continue its offer aimed at travelers. The terms remain unchanged, and the program will run until 12 January 2027.
What has changed?
According to PRNews.pl, the institution has extended the duration of its Travel Promotion. The program, designed to support tourism spending, will remain available to new customers under the existing rules until 12 January 2027.
The bank cites data from GUS and Eurostat, which show rising costs for private travel among Poles. Between 2019 and 2024, these costs increased by 43%, exceeding the EU average of 32%.
What does it mean for customers?
New users can access financial benefits related to travel planning. The mechanism involves accumulating funds in a virtual Returns Wallet. For the first 20 monthly transactions, the bank provides a 3% return (up to 100 PLN), and for subsequent payments, a 6% return. A total of up to 200 PLN can be collected monthly, reaching up to 2400 PLN over 12 months.
The accumulated funds can be used to cover 20% of travel costs, such as fuel, flights, or bus and train tickets. Additionally, customers can receive up to 300 PLN for opening an account online and actively using a card. The total value of benefits can reach up to 2700 PLN.
What to check before deciding?
Before using the offer, it is worth verifying which specific types of expenses are classified as travel-related. It is also important to check how the Returns Wallet is calculated and what specific requirements must be met regarding card activity to receive the additional online account opening bonus.
