Nest Bank has announced updates to its tariff of fees and commissions, effective from early December. The most significant change is a new charge for telephone support regarding tasks that can be completed independently.

New fee for telephone service

According to Bankier.pl, starting 1 December 2026, Nest Bank will charge 17 zł if a customer asks a telephone consultant to perform an action available via online or mobile banking. The bank attributes this move to the development of digital channels and the use of the AI-powered N!Asystent.

Simply calling the helpline will not cost 17 zł. The fee will not apply to matters that cannot be handled online or if electronic banking is unavailable due to the bank’s fault. Furthermore, the 17 zł charge will not be added to operations that already have their own specific prices in the tariff, such as transfers, standing orders, or direct debits.

What this means for customers

Customers who use only digital channels will not see any changes. The new rules are intended to encourage self-service. It is worth noting that Nest Bank uses a single 17 zł rate, whereas other institutions, such as Bank Pekao, apply different fees depending on the task (e.g. 5 zł for changing a transfer limit via phone).

On the other hand, the bank is removing some existing costs. It is eliminating fees for cancelling a power of attorney (previously up to 15 zł) and for cancelling a death benefit instruction (previously up to 25 zł). Account maintenance, one debit card, and certain transfers or BLIK operations will remain free.

What to check before deciding

Before 1 December 2026, check how often you rely on consultants for tasks you could perform yourself in the app. If you do not accept the changes, you have until 30 November to terminate your agreement or lodge an objection, which will result in the contract ending the day before the new tariff takes effect.
